Trebbiano family

Trebbiano is a family of white grapes among the most popular in Italy, present in the ‘blend of dozens of DOC wines, both white and red. Among the various grape varieties, which often are named for the area of origin, we highlight Trebbiano Toscano, Trebbiano d’ Abruzzo, Trebbiano Romagnolo and Trebbiano Spoletino. Its wide spread is due to the ability to adapt to different types of terrain and weather conditions, high productivity and the characteristics of the resulting wine, generally pleasant, correct and easily marketable. In fact it is sufficiently neutral to be used in conjunction with other wines from the strong personality, without overwhelming even when used in high percentages.
