The Teroldego grape, the most important in Trentino, has found its habitat particularly favorable in the large flat area called Campo Rotaliano, in particular in the municipalities of Mezzocorona, Mezzolombardo and San Michele. For some time, however, its cultivation has been spreading, even though this grape is sensitive to climatic conditions and appears to develop and give excellent results only in the Piana Rotaliana. The wine generated from this vine is excellent, full-bodied, robust, with scents reminiscent of raspberries, and sometimes, in the case of a good aging, to almond.
