Abruzzo

Abruzzo wine takes its character from the terrain which lies between the Adriatic sea and the Appennine mountain range. Most of the region is made up of national parks and nature reserves.  Montepulciano D’Abruzzo has been growing in this region since the 18th century and is certainly their most famous red wine. Trebbiano is the region’s most famous white and Cerasuolo is the rosé variety.  The fertile terrain and the ideal climate of this region contribute to the quality of these grapes. Our Abruzzo selection comes from Italo Pietrantonj.
