Wine from Veneto

Veneto is one of the main wine producing regions in Italy. Its consumption is still very rooted in the territory. The vines, which make both white and red wines, are grown in both flat areas, rich in streams, and on the hills, which is characterized by mild climate and fertile soil. The Veneto wines most appreciated in Italy and abroad are produced in the province of Verona. Here we find, among others, Soave, Lugana (Doc shared with the province of Brescia), and the Valpolicella Doc, with some DOCG declination and the renowned Amarone della Valpolicella. Among the dry sparkling wines suitable for an aperitif you can not ignore the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, in the traditional version Extra Dry or Brut version to accompany an appetizer.
