Wine from Trentino South Tyrol

Trentino South Tyrol is the most northern region of Italy, with a completely mountainous territory; It is usually divided into two areas: one is the southern part in the province of Trento, and the other is Alto Adige, or South Tyrol, in the province of Bolzano. Trentino and South Tyrol respectively have 8 and 3 Doc zones, with various sub-areas, all located along the Adige river. The area of South Tyrol is famous for some fine and appreciated DOC wines. Especially Renown whites are the Alto Adige Pinot Bianco and Alto Adige Valle Venosta Traminer aromatic.
