Liquore Amaro Marzadro is inspired by ancient Trentino recipes for traditional herbal liqueurs. Since the 1950s, Attilio and Sabina Marzadro carefully selected mountain plants and herbs from Monte Baldo, located at 2218 metres above sea level, to craft this distinctive spirit. Today, alpine rhubarb, yellow gentian, white bryony, chamomile, fennel, St. Benedict’s thistle, goat’s rue, and various types of yarrow are still handpicked and undergo cold maceration for 20 to 30 days to extract their natural aromas and flavours.
The characteristic red colour of Liquore Amaro Marzadro comes from alpine rhubarb, giving the liqueur a perfectly balanced profile that is both bitter and refreshingly cool.
With an aromatic, herbaceous bouquet and a fresh, structured bitterness, this 30% alcohol liqueur is ideal as a digestif after meals or served over ice for a traditional Italian experience. Liquore Amaro Marzadro is a true expression of alpine craftsmanship and heritage in every sip.
