Pietrantonj Montepulciano D’Abruzzo DOC

Aging: The wine matured 12-18 months in 40hl Slavonian oak barrels, then a further 3 months in the bottle.

Harvest time: Mid to late October.

Production Gentle pressing of the grapes, then a lengthy, submerged-cap maceration and cool-temperature fermentation.

Nose: The bouquet offers varietally-faithful scents of sweet violets and pungent underbrush.

Taste An elegant, velvet-smooth palate displays sturdy structure and perfectly-calibrated tannins.
