Sforzato della Valtellina Rainoldi is a masterpiece of Italian winemaking, combining strength and elegance in every sip. Grown at 500 meters above sea level in the dry, well-ventilated Ca’ Rizzieri vineyard, the grapes undergo a careful cold maceration followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures. Aged 15 months in lightly toasted French oak “Allier” barrels and refined for 12 months in the bottle, this wine develops a remarkable complexity. On the nose, it reveals intensely spicy aromas with hints of fruit in alcohol, coffee, cocoa, and dried grapes. On the palate, Sforzato della Valtellina Rainoldi is powerful yet rounded, offering a hot and austere character balanced by elegance, making it a truly exceptional red wine for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
