Grape-variety: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Lagrein, and Teroldego
Aging: Aging for 18 months partially in 225 liter barriques and partially in large barrels. Then a further 6 months in the bottle.
Vineyard: Masetto, the little manor (from the Latin “mansum“), is home to the Cantina Endrizzi since 1885.
Masetto and Kinderleit. Vine training partially in the simple Trentino pergola style, partially in Guyotstyle.
Altitude 220-250m above sea level. Chalky dolomite soils mixed with debris from the Rio Faedo.
Color: Ruby-red color.
Nose: Elegantly spicy and complex bouquet reminiscent of blueberries, raspberries, cocoa, and vanilla.
Taste: Full and especially harmonious, notwithstanding the marked tannic presence. Persistent mouthfeel.
