The Monsanto Chianti Classico showcases the expertise of Castello di Monsanto with its traditional Guyot and spurred cordon training systems. Carefully vinified in temperature-controlled steel vats using Délestage and pumping over techniques, the wine is aged for 20 months in large oak casks and further refined in the bottle for two years. This meticulous process produces a wine with a wonderfully expressive bouquet of blackberry and cherry, a warm, elegant taste, and perfectly integrated tannins, making it a versatile choice for roasted meats, rich pasta dishes, and Tuscan cheeses.
