LE TOBELE Estate and winery is owned by the family Degani.
It has had its roots in wine-making and vineyards in the Valpolicella area for over five generations.
The Estate and winery is managed by Aldo , Zeno and Riccardo Degani. The family run the winery with a perfect harmony between technology, passion and love for wine resulting in high quality wines.
The Vineyards
Their vineyards are situated in the area of Marano Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano, Tregnago and Illasi. Great attention is given to the so called “appassimento” drying of the grapes that are destinated for the production of the our most important wines : Amarone, Recioto and Valpolicella Superiore.
The Winery
The small winery is situated in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica in the village of Marano. The high quality wines produced in the winery are a result of the careful care of the vineyards and selection of the grapes.
Degani wines tell a history of a family that believes in hard work and determination. Looking towards the future and change with an open minded attitude has made quality a moral family matter.
The uniqueness of the Valpolicella wine is based on the uniqueness of the rich and varied territory and on the typical characteristics of the red wine grape varieties , especially those grape varieties that trace their origins to the area , and are included in the various production regulations and laws that date back to 1968.
