Vinification: Temperature controlled vinification in stainless steel conical-trunk vats with rack and pumping over techniques for 18/20 days.
Aging: 18 Months maturation, partly in 500 LT French oak barrels and partly in 225 LT barriques. 6 months in bottle before release. – Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva
Nose: The aroma ranges from blackberries, blueberries, and vegetables with a balsamic nuance on the finish.
Taste: The taste is full-bodied and balanced – fruity, with a closure that gives tannins which are intense, but very fine and veiled
