Welcome to our Italian Wine FAQs! Here at A Taste of Italy in Gorey, we answer all your questions about our fine selection of Italian wines, from tasting tips to pairing advice.
Is there a minimum order?
Italian Wine FAQs often include questions about ordering requirements. If you are buying wine, we will require you to purchase a minimum of six bottles. However, if you order other products, there is no minimum order.
Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?
In our Italian Wine FAQs, customers often ask about delivery times. No problem! We will deliver your wine to any address within the Republic of Ireland within 3–4 working days for a flat fee of €10 regardless of the weight. We also offer free delivery within the Republic of Ireland for orders above €150.
What if I am not home when my wine is delivered? Will you leave it on the doorstep for me?
In our Italian Wine FAQs, we often mention delivery arrangements. We usually ask you to provide a contact number so that our courier or driver can coordinate the delivery with you. Standard courier deliveries occur during office hours, Monday to Friday. Your wine cannot be left without a signature. If the courier misses you, an advice slip will be left so you can arrange to collect your wine.
If I buy a wine and I don’t like it can I send it back?
If, for any reason you are unhappy with the purchase you made within 3 months, please get in contact with us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to refund you for any bottles which you return us which have not been opened and remain in sealed (not broken) condition on return.
Can I mix cases or do they have to be the same?
Yes you can choose any 6 bottles, they do not all have to be from a single brand.
I forgot to add a note on my order, what do I do now?
If you have forgotten to leave us a note, simply send us an e-mail with your note, along with your order number to [email protected]
Can I amend an order that I have already placed?
Of Course! If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet. All you need to do is contact us either through email ([email protected]) or telephone 053 9420709 during office hours, quoting your order number.
Do you only sell online?
A Taste of Italy does not only sell online, in fact, the online store is only a small part of our business. We mostly sell to the retail industry, restaurants and hotels.
